By: Matt Alpert
The New Zealand Herald reported that angler Donna Pascoe of Auckland spent four hours reeling in the monster 907-pound, 4-ounce record Pacific bluefin off the coast of Houhora, New Zealand. Pascoe was fishing on a charter boat when she caught the record bluefin.
The International Fish and Game Association reviewed Pascoe’s catch and determined the fish is in fact a world record Pcaific bluefin tuna. Check out the clip of her crew landing the gigantic fish after a four-hour fight.
